Vintage rowing machine

It's not every day that you stumble over a vintage rowing machine. I have to admit I don't know a lot about it . It still has a label on it - Atlantic rowing machine. It is in good working order , and now we have cleaned it up it is looking quite splendid in the window. As for age , I'm not sure probably 1950s , but I'm happy to be corrected !

PRODUCT OF THE DAY - 1970s playmobil characters

Today's addition to our every changing and increasingly eclectic and diverse stock of products .
A drawer of 1970s playmobil characters to brighten your lives.

PARTY.

We will be having the usual drinks selection .... Babycham , cherry B , snowballs. Served with cheese and pineapple on sticks and other retro snacks . There will be the ever popular lucky dip , and most importantly 20% off absolutely everything , that includes the entire vintage floor.

Product of the day - Big Head Squirrel Feeder

The kitschest thing to arrive in store for a while ( and believe me we get a lot of kitsch arriving all of the time) .

You hang the big head squirrel feeder up by its ears at just the right height from the ground that when a squirrel raids it , it looks like it has a giant head.

I have put a 20p next to it so you can see that it is big .

I am definitely taking one of these home!

Happy Anniversary mum and dad

All of the photo frames in our shop contain old photos of my family, instead of the usual
Random couple on a beach with way too white toothy smiles.

The favourite by far is the brilliant photo of my parents on their wedding day. People often want to keep the picture in the frame to give as part of a wedding gift .

Today is their 49th Wedding Anniversary. Have a happy day mum and dad xx

Would your Mum Like A Charlie's Angels Annual

With Mothers Day just around the corner , the question is would your Mum like a Charlie's Angels Annual?  I know i would, I saved my chocolate every week all ready to settle down to watch an episode. We have a large selection of retro television and pop music Annuals in stock, but this would be my pick. (Unless there was a Cagney and Lacey one ) .
